1638 Belvedere is located in Berkeley's highly sought-after Westbrae neighborhood.

For more than 40 years, Louise, Tim and their family thoroughly enjoyed their slice of Berkeley in this charming and roomy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Every inch of the home & garden was cherished and loved, including the abundant storage space.

In Louise's own words, in a poem she wrote to the house:

"...We lived here,
loved here,
raised our children here,
who went off to loves and lives in other places.
We are following their footsteps,
leaving this house where we've lived
for more than forty years
and this is what we've loved:

Morning light shining through the windows
as we're rushing off to school or work,
or sitting by the fire with the New York Times,
Princess tree madly blooming in the front,
tomatoes every summer in the back,
passion fruit in January,
apples in the fall,
Thanksgiving feast abounding in the kitchen,
spilling out to dining room and deck,
tables up and down the living room,
Front window Christmas tree greeting all who pass,
backyard birthdays for kids and grownups too,
July 4 BBQ damped by the fog...

This is the house where our dreams came true.
Life has happened here,
home has happened here..."
